Where the snow is

The Hohe Tauern is the highest range in Austria, crowned by the Grossglockner at 3,798 m, and a national park. Bad Gastein, a spa town in a steep valley on its northern side, is its main ski resort, with the Kaprun glacier at the range’s western end.
