Ötztal Alps snow forecast
No snow is expected at any of the 2 places in Ötztal Alps in the next 7 days.
Where the snow is
The Ötztal Alps are the high, glaciated range along the Austrian-Italian border at the head of the Ötztal in Tyrol. Sölden has lifts to 3,340 m and two glaciers, and hosts the opening World Cup races each October; Obergurgl-Hochgurgl, at the very end of the valley, is one of the highest villages in the Alps.
In our record the resorts here average about 12 snowy days at mid-mountain in December, January, March and May.
When it snows
Sölden’s glaciers open in September or October and the resort runs to early May; Obergurgl opens in mid-November and closes in late April.
