Linked ski area
Les 3 Vallées
A linked ski area joining Courchevel, Méribel, Val Thorens and neighbouring resorts.
Les 3 Vallées snow forecast
No snow is expected at any of the 3 places in Les 3 Vallées in the next 7 days.
The area
Les 3 Vallées links Courchevel, Méribel, Les Menuires, Saint-Martin-de-Belleville and Val Thorens across three parallel valleys of the Tarentaise, and claims 600 km of pistes on one pass, the largest linked area in the world. The three valleys have three characters: Courchevel’s north-facing slopes hold snow best, Méribel in the middle gets the sun, and Val Thorens at the head of the Belleville valley is the highest and most reliable, with skiing above 3,000 m.
The snow
In our record the resorts here average about 13 snowy days at mid-mountain in January and March and 12 to 13 in December, with Val Thorens the surest bet early and late in the season and the runs into Courchevel Le Praz and the lower Méribel villages the first to suffer in a thaw.
