About Åre

Åre’s lifts climb to 1,274 m on Åreskutan, just below the 1,420 m summit, giving a vertical drop of 890 m. The skiing spreads across Åre By, Björnen, Duved and Tegefjäll.

The resort hosted the Alpine World Ski Championships in 1954, 2007 and 2019.
