Matterhorn ski paradise

The ski area linking Zermatt in Switzerland with Breuil-Cervinia in Italy.

Matterhorn ski paradise snow forecast

No snow is expected at any of the 2 places in Matterhorn ski paradise in the next 7 days.

The area

The Matterhorn Ski Paradise links Zermatt in Switzerland with Cervinia and Valtournenche in Italy across the Theodul pass, with about 360 km of pistes between 1,524 m and 3,883 m, the highest lift-served skiing in the Alps. The Klein Matterhorn and Theodul glacier are skiable all year, and the Matterhorn Alpine Crossing cable car links the two countries year-round.

The snow

In our record Zermatt and Cervinia average about 12 to 13 snowy days at mid-mountain in December, January and March, with a few snowy days even in summer on the glacier. The Italian side faces south and is sunnier and gentler; the Swiss side is steeper and holds colder snow.
