About Bormio

Bormio’s skiing drops about 1,800 m from Cima Bianca (3,012 m) to the town (1,225 m), over more than 50 km of slopes. The Stelvio run is a regular World Cup downhill course and was used for alpine skiing at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Bormio hosted the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in 1985 and 2005. The town also has thermal baths.
